ride where the pros ride
They don't call Girona a Cycling Mecca for no reason. Girona offers dozens of dreamy routes, mountain climbs and coastal descents accompanied by traditional Spanish hospitality, cuisine, and coffee.

Terrific Terrain
Girona is a riding destination that has it all. The climbs, the descents, the views all with a likeminded group of cyclists.
What's The Plan?
A carefully curated 6-day itinerary well suited for intermediate cyclists. Enjoy the best scenery, training, and Spanish culinary delights.
01
Day 1: Warm Up Ride
Day 1 is the cruisiest day on the tour. Settle in to our accomodation, acclimatising to an ideal 19-23 degrees celsius (oh the joys of cooler weather) and a light warm up ride.
We start by exploring the closest climb from home, just a few minutes away. Els Angels climbs a perfect 10km at a gentle average of 3% to wake the legs up. We round off with Santa Pellaia for a bit more verts before returning in time to enjoy the best of the day and recover for the big week ahead.
105km Loop
Coffee & Energy Stops
Breathtaking Scenery

Day 3: Coastal Ride
We head down a mix of quiet farm roads and smooth tarmac to the beach and ride along the stunning coast. Expect breathtaking views, constant hard work (lumpy along the coast—not a beach ride!), and a magical day.
115km Dynamic Ride
Long but gradual ascents
Medieval town visit
04
Day 4: Rocacorba
The legendary Rocacorba is a must-ride for any cyclist visiting Girona. Tough, unrelenting, and very rewarding—this 10km at 8% will put the "challenge" of Mt Faber in perspective.
Another day, another big climb. 18km for the day and getting up to well above 1000m elevation. This climb is relatively steady and ascents along narrow and quiet roads. A real treat!
We pack in the miles and verts today. Two back-to-back climbs—Sant Hilari and Coll Formic, before a 40km descent hitting 160km/2200m in total. That's a memorable day!
160km of Quiet, Winding Roads
Mellow Gradients
Over 2000m Elevation
Where Are We Staying?
Nestled in a quiet street in the heart of Barri Vell (or Old Town), La Comuna Residence sits at the intersection of the old and new.
Crank n' Chain Tours will have 2 Double Rooms, 3 Twin Rooms, and 1 Three-Room Penthouse for our trip.
